Port fleet is a subdivision of the port having at its disposal special auxiliary ships to provide for all types of port work on inside and outside water area.

The port fleet provides for:
- uninterrupted round-the clock safe calls of vessels at the port:
- 24-hours a day watch in the zone of responsibility of the port for purpose of navigation safety;
- 24-hours a day watch for purpose of fire-safety providing for oil-tankers and LPG-tankers, which performing cargo-handling operations on inside water area of the port;
- receipt of vessels in the area of responsibility of the port;
- pilotage through access channel;
- leading;
- mooring, shifting between berths during cargo works, unmooring for exit out of the port;
-escorting till port exit;
- vessel servicing:
- bunkerage with fresh water;
- cleaning and degassing of transport vehicles;
- removal of bilged and sewage waters and sanitary wastes;

- utilization for cargo operations:
- cargo transfer, towage;
- heavy weight and oversized cargos reloading;
- elevated special mounting jobs;
- concession of floating means for cargo works;
- conveyance of passengers and inshore transportations, servicing of port supervision inspections and pilotage;
- removal of leaked oil products and other harmful substances from vessels standing in port waters;
- provision of fire safety and rescue operations.

The port fleet includes 39 vessels of different destination and Register's class provided with all necessary equipment for performance of current tasks of the port:
- tugs - 10 pcs engine power 150 to 5440 HP;
- pollution control ships:
bilged waters remover – 2 pcs with carrying capacity of 306 and 417 tons;
oil-spill boat – 2 pcs engine power 135 and 160 HP;
- floating cranes – 2 pcs with carrying capacity of 100 and 300 tons;
- passenger boats – 5 pcs with sitting capacity 50-150 persons;
- water-carriers – 1 pcs with cargo capacity 894 tons;
- non-self-propelled barges – 1 pcs with cargo capacity 1072 tons.

The port fleet also includes:
- chemistry laboratory – makes chemical analysis of fuels and lubricants for water content, temperature, inflammation, mechanical impurities etc.;
- pontoon piers – for berthing of port fleet vessels;
- mooring buoys – for roadstead mooring of vessels.
