Port Authority pays a great attention to upgrading proffecional skills of port workers.

Port training center has been created for practical training and improvement of professional skill simultaneously more than 250 port workers without giving up work.

There are classes and laboratories where port workers are trained and improve the qualification almost on two tens specialities.

The center has 2 training grounds on which ship and gantry cranes, 3 various railway cars, a cargo stage etc equipment are placed. There is a separate platform for training to management of lift trucks and carry out of cargo handling works.

Teaching is conducted by forces of highly skilled experts of port with attraction, if necessary, the faculty of sea educational institutions.

On all kinds of training PTC has the licenses of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
